Dianne - Please give my very best wishes to Steve. He doesn't know me but I know his older brother Lee, who I call Gibby. Gibby and I were in Vietnam together. We were together on that awful day in February when Gibby saved the lives of a lot of young men and was wounded himself. We all cherish Gibby. He's a man of grit and courage and from what he has told me, his father and Steve are the same way. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet you. In the meantime, take care and know that you and Steve are in my thoughts and prayers. I am the one they call "Stretch"

Dear Steve & Diane, Jason, Amie and I... all send our continued love. Steve, I will never forget the impact you made on Jason as a teenager, you were someone he highly respected and looked up to. To Amie, you were someone who managed to make that shy little redhead smile, you even "loaned" her one of your tabs... remember that.. even as big as it was on her little fingers.. she held on to it tightly. As a parent and friend... I thank you and could not have asked for more. We will alway have you in our hearts. K

Dianne & Steve there is no way on this earth, you could know what the two of you mean to me and you both will always be in my prayers. Steve, when you leave and go on your next journey and all the things you will accomplish, know I will be thinking of you. As I told you Sunday before I left, you and Mom have a shooting date. You will need to keep that shooting ability you have, because when I get there it’s going to be like the old times when we would go to all those shoots. I know when they read this to you, you will remember all fun times we had together. I promise I’ll cut back on the spaghetti. Love you Steve. RR

Steve, I will never ever forget the kindness and true friendship that you showed me. I felt for the first time you and I had a chance to really connect this past January in Mexico. The one thing out of many that I admire about you is, you never listened to the nay sayers who told you this company would never get any where. You followed your dreams and always kept an eye on the end goal. Know the end goal is near in this life, but what awaits you are 30 point bucks, 400 lb elk and 600lb bears. I wish you a safe travel and I will miss your great stories and incrediable smile. All my love and prayers. Todd

Steve and Dianne: Bob has continued to update me on Steve's status. You have and continue to be in our prayers. Bob mentioned that in his dreams Sunday night, Steve and him were having a good conversation. He also mentioned, that when he talked to you yesterday (Monday), that Steve was doing a lot of talking in his sleep on Sunday night as well. Can't imagine what they were talking about! It gives me the chills, but I truly believe they had one of their good conversations! The two of you mean so much to Bob and I, and our family. It seems like yesterday when Bob and I would come over to your house and work on building sights. Time has flown by, but does not diminish our feelings for the two of you. We love you both! Dear Steve and Dianne, My prayers go out to you. May God comfort and guide you. Steve is a bright light which cannot be extinguished. He touched so many lives, mine included. Frank and I loved all the "grandpa" bantering that went on between the two of them at every shoot. Inside the exterior was a big softy. We knew Steve way back before Sure-Loc when he was just an archer working on a dream. He never forgot any of us when that dream became a reality, and we will never forget him.

Dianne & Steve, Greatly appreciate your allowing Steve Davis and myself to spend a few moments in your house. What special people you are and what love is displayed for each other and to all others that you two have touched. Words are just not adequate enough to express how you have spread Gibbisms across the country. Not many people have been blessed like you two to have traveled the country with friends in so many states. Faith and hope is where I'll place my prayers as that is where real peace finds it's home. You two are thought of often and know that many people and churches are praying for you daily as I and my church are also. Keep your eye on the sparrow which in your case is just outside your window. God's peace be with you both.

Hey Dianne & Steve! I am so thankful to have been able to come see you all and spend some extra time there. You are all such a great blessing in my life, I wish I could repay you for all that you've done! Steve- The things you said to me while I was there pass through my mind each and every day and I now live by them. Just to see what you've been able to accomplish from the days we built the sights on the ping pong table 15+ years ago to the amazing first-class operation you have now is a true testament to what a man with a dream and motivation can accomplish. Now THAT'S inspiring! You've set the standard for my life which is to never settle for anything less than extraordinary and I cannot thank you enough. Just as you've checked off goals on your to-do lists in the past, I am confident that this battle does not have the power to keep you down for much longer and you'll be able to check this one off as well. I cannot wait to see you again very soon. I love you guys! *your favorite nephew!*

Steve, Though I haven't met you, I know that you're a brother in Archery, Hunting, Family, and all that comes with these loves. I'm a good friend of Bob Schewe, and I know through Bob that you're a good man with honest, hard-working family values, and a passion for our sport. I'm sorry to hear that you're going thru alot of crap. Please realize that we're all praying for you, and your family, and we hope that you can all get through this, and realize that sometimes the Good Lord has his reasons, and they may not make sense to us at the time. Unfortunately, more times than not, taxing situations happen to good folks, rather than bad. Maybe the Good Lord needs you now, and maybe he knows that in your memory, we will find the Love, Strength, and Faith to carry-on, and help others who are faced with tough times. Good Luck Steve, and family. I'm glad to hear that you're able to be with friends, and family in these troubled times, and you're able to re-kindle old times, and cherish the moments. All of those moments matter. Thank you for sharing yourselves, your loves, and your gifts with all of us. Greg Thomas

Steve, Our family knows the struggle and pain of dealing with this all too well. Last week my mom passed away after a long battle with lung cancer. There are inevitabilities but there are also great hopes and strides with all of the treatment options available to you. Dear Steve, Got the latest update from George Chapman yesterday. I didn't know what to say. I just wanted to thank you for your friendship and all you have taught me. Seems like only yesterday that I first met you at the Atlantic City Classic (even though it was 1996 when we met). I have always come away from our conversations a wiser individual. Your contributions to the sport of archery are undeniable and you have raised the bar for those of us that came after you. For that we all owe you a great deal of thanks. I wish you and Dianne the best and if there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Hi Steve and Dianne, Got a call from Dean Pridgen yesterday. We are so thankful to hear from our many friends and to stay "in the loop". Terry and I want you to know we are praying hard for you guys. Steve, you have done so much for us during our time in competitive archery and we want to personally thank you and Dianne for all of it. True friends are hard to come by and we consider it an honor and a privilege to know you two and call you friends. Dear Dianne & Steve, So sorry I haven't touched base lately. I was blessed with the opportunity to hunt elk with a bow for the first time and put a lot into preparing for that not to mention the archery season rush at home here. I'm thankful for my brother and staff covering the shop while dad and I went on this hunt. One evening on this hunt while in a treestand overlooking a meadow at about 9000ft and gazing at the peaks around me up to 11500ft I felt really close to God. I thanked him so very much for all my blessings and then prayed really hard for you and several others on my prayer list. I stood there in sheer awe looking at his beautiful creation and felt confident that we are all in the gentle hand of his care. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you both, and rain down upon you his Holy Spirit. Our prayers continue from Allentown PA.

Hi Steve and Diane, I was shocked to hear of your battle with cancer. You sponsor my daughter, Paige Pearce. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 at the age of 35. It was the most difficult thing that I ever had to deal with, especially with two small children. I just wanted to tell you that you need to stay strong and positive. There is a light at the end of that long dark tunnel! You have so many friends and family members that love you! I have an adorable picture of you and Paige in Las Vegas. If you email me, I will email it back to you. Take Care! Kevin, Stacy, Paige and Kaden Pearce
